Remove the RTC battery:
1. Position the system board upside down.
2. Lift the foam tab (1) off the RTC battery cable.
3. Disconnect the battery cable (2) from the system board connector.
4. Pry the battery (3) off the bottom of the system board.
To replace the RTC battery, reverse the removal procedures.
WARNING! Only replace the battery with a compatible battery type. The compatible battery type for
this notebook is CR2025.
Audio jack
To remove the audio jack, use this procedure and illustration.
