• Extend the server from the rack.
• Remove the server from the rack.
6. Remove the access panel.
7. Remove the media bay blank.
8. Install the 2SFF SAS/SATA drive cage assembly.

Do one of the following:
• For the connection to system board
If installed, remove the air bale.
• For the connection to a type-a controller
If installed, remove the controller to secure the space for cabling.
10.
Connect the signal and power cables for the 2SFF SAS/SATA drive cage.
11.
Do one of the following:
• If removed,
install the air bale.
• If removed, install the type-a controller.
12.
Install the SFF drive.
13. Install the access panel.
14. Install the server into the rack.
15. Connect all peripheral cables to the server.
16. Connect each power cord to the server.
17. Connect each power cord to the power source.
