Procedure
1. Power down the server.
2. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
4. Do one of the following:
•
Extend the server from the rack.
• Remove the server from the rack.
5.
Remove the access panel.
6. Place the GPU holder to be engaged with the spool on the chassis.
7.
Remove the primary riser cage.
8.
Remove the primary riser slot 1 blank.
9. Install the GPU into the primary riser slot 1.
