12. Apply new thermal grease to the processor in the pattern shown below. Use the full contents of the
thermal grease syringe.
13. Install the heatsink.
a. Align the heatsink screws with the processor nuts correctly.
b. Using a T-20 screwdriver, fully tighten the four captive heatsink screws in the order indicated on
the heatsink label. Otherwise boot failure or intermittent shutdowns might occur.
14. If removed, install the air baffle.
15. Install the access panel.
16. Install the server into the rack.
17. Power up the server.
18. If removed, install the bezel.
