NOTE
l The signals shown in this table are defined in terms of transmission and reception by the EMU.
l When the TXD+ pin is connected to the RXD+ pin and the TXD- pin is connected to the RXD- pin,
the RS485 serial port can be used for two-wire connection.
l The EMU works properly even if only one RS485 serial port is connected. It is recommended that you
use two RS-485 serial ports in active/standby mode. In this case, set serial port 1 to the active port.
2.4.2 RS232 Serial Port
This describes the RS232 serial port on the EMU. An RS232 serial port is an RJ-45 socket and
suitable for a dedicated serial port cable that has an RJ-45 plug.
