l Consult transfer: Tap Transfer during a call and enter a destination number. After the third
party answers, tap Finish to transfer the call to the third party.
NOTE
l If you want to use the call transfer function, at least two lines must be configured for your current
account and at least one of them is idle.
l eSpace UC2.0 does not support the semi-attend transfer.
Assume that user A is talking with user B and user A wants to transfer the call to user C. The
procedure is as follows:
1. User A taps Transfer. The dialer screen is displayed, and user B is held.
2. User A enters user C's phone number in either of the following ways:
l Manually entering user C's phone number in the dialer
l Selecting user C's phone number from the favorites, contacts screen, or corporate
directory screen
3. User A performs call transfer operations.
NOTE
The call transfer operations vary according to the way a destination number is entered.
If a destination number is entered manually:
l Blind transfer
User A taps Finish.
User A's call is automatically ended, and user B calls user C automatically.
l Semi-consult transfer
User A taps or . The outgoing call screen is displayed. When user C hears the
ring back tone, user A taps Finish.
Then, user A's call is automatically ended, and user B calls user C automatically.
l Consult transfer
User A taps or . The outgoing call screen is displayed. If user C answers the
call from user A and agrees to talk with user B, user A taps Finish.
Then, user A's call is automatically ended, and user B talks to user C.
If a destination number is selected from the favorites, contacts screen, or corporate
directory screen:
l Blind transfer
User A taps
next to the selected number and taps Finish on the screen that is
displayed.
Then, user A's call is automatically ended, and user B calls user C automatically.
l Semi-consult transfer
User A taps
next to the selected number to enter the screen for making a call transfer,
and taps Calling. If user A hears the ring back tone from user C, which indicates that
user C agrees to talk with user B, user A taps Finish.
Then, user A's call is automatically ended, and user B calls user C automatically.
