5. Use the left or right navigation button to select DTMF (tone dialing) or PULSE (pulse
dialing), and then select Save to save the setting.
7.3 Managing Contacts
To view the contacts in a handset, choose Frequent Contact and then View from the main menu
or directly press Frequent Contact from the home screen.
From the Frequent Contact screen, you can do the following to configure a speed-dial number:
Select Speed dial, press navigation buttons to scroll to a desired button, select Modify, and then
select a desired contact from contacts. After the preceding settings, you can dial the number by
pressing and holding the button that has been set.
Creating a Contact Using the Contact Menu
1. In standby mode, press MENU to display the main menu.
2. Use the navigation buttons to highlight Frequent Contact, and then select Select.
3. Use up and down navigation buttons to highlight New contact, and then select Select.
4. Enter the contact name.
5. Use the down navigation button to highlight the number field, and then enter the contact
phone number as required.
6. Use the down navigation button to highlight the ringtone type to the right of the
icon,
and then use the left or right navigation button to select a ringtone to accompany the number.
Every time a ringtone is selected, the handset plays a preview of the ringtone.
7. Select a wallpaper using the same method. Then select SAVE to save the settings.
Creating a Contact by Entering the Phone Number
1. Enter a phone number in standby mode, and then select SAVE.
2. Enter the contact name.
3. Use the down navigation button to highlight the number field, and then edit the phone
number.
4. Use the down navigation button to highlight the ringtone type to the right of the
icon,
and then use the left or right navigation button to select a ringtone to accompany the number.
Every time a ringtone is selected, the handset plays a preview of the ringtone.
5. Select a wallpaper using the same method. Then select SAVE to save the settings.
7.4 Making a Call
Making a Call by Dialing a Number
1. In standby mode, enter a phone number.
2. If there is a mistake in the number, modify it by selecting Delete.
