5. Manager A taps Restore to answer the call from user C. The call between secretary B and
user C automatically ends.
The Secretary Answers the Call First and the Manager Breaks in the Call (for eSpace
UC1.1 only)
1. Secretary B taps LINE1 and answers the call from user C.
2. Manager A taps LINE1. The shared line is in talking state.
3. Manager A taps Break In to answer the call from user C. The call between secretary B and
user C automatically ends.
Private Call
When the advanced secretary service is configured, private call for the manager are supported.
That is, the manager's shared line is used as a private line and the secretary's shared line become
unavailable.
NOTE
The private call function is available only when eSpace 8850 is used in eSpace UC2.0. In addition, the
private call only for the manger are supported.
Follow the steps below to enable or disable the private call function:
1. On the home screen of eSpace 8850, tap
> Call Service > Private call.
The Private Call screen is displayed.
2. Enable or disable the private call function.
l To enable the private call function, select Enable.
l To disable the private call function, select Disable.
3. Tap Save to save the setting and exit.
When the private call function is enabled, the shared line buttons on both the manager's and
secretary's phones are displayed as
.
NOTE
You can disable the private call function for the manager to resume the manager's shared line. After the
manager's shared line is resumed, the manager's line status is consistent with the secretary's, for example,
both ringing or calling.
5.8 ACB (for eSpace UC2.0 only)
You can tap ACB to enable the automatic call back (ACB) function.
NOTE
l To use the ACB service, ensure that your account has been assigned the ACB right. If you have any
questions, contact the system administrator.
l Only the first call back record between two accounts is recorded.
After the ACB function enabled on the phone, the ACB icon is displayed on the home
screen. The message Auto callback configured successfully. is displayed for three seconds.
