8.1 My Files
You can manage files stored in the built-in storage or an external storage device (such as a USB
device or a microSD card) that is connected to eSpace 8850.To access the My files screen, tap
on the home screen, and tap .
Managing Local Files
eSpace 8850 stores local files in Download, Music, and Pictures folders. To delete a file in a
folder, select the file and tap Delete. To delete multiple files at the same time, tap Multiple,
select files to delete, and tap Delete.
You can export local files to an external storage device. You can view a single picture or tap
to view pictures in presentation mode in a folder.
Managing External Files
An external storage device is displayed as a folder on the My files screen. You can tap the folder
to view files stored in the external storage device.
You can import a file to the built-in storage by selecting the file and tapping Import. To import
multiple files at the same time, tap Multiple, select files to import, and tap Import.
NOTE
l User can import pictures in JPEG format and ringtones in MP3 format to the phone.
l Files cannot be imported when the remaining built-in storage space is insufficient. You can view the
used and total storage space to the right of the Local folder on the My files screen.
8.2 Calendar
eSpace 8850 provides the calendar function.
NOTE
The calendar supports a date ranging from January 1, 1901 to December 31, 2050.
To access the Calendar screen, tap
on the home screen, and tap . You can perform the
following operations on the Calendar screen:
l Tap or to go to the last or next year or month.
l Tap
to return to the Applications screen.
NOTE
You can also press the left arrow button, right arrow button, OK button, or Return button on the phone
body to perform the preceding operations on the Calendar screen.
