Repair Instructions
1
When replacing the fuel lter, the old fuel lter must
be taken out of the tank unit using special tool 502
50 83-01. See gure 56.

Take out the fuel hose from the tank unit and pull
off the fuel lter.

Fit the new fuel lter and press the fuel hose into
place again.
NOTE!
Fluted pliers may not be used with the fuel
hose. They can cause material damage
resulting in damage to the fuel hose.

7.20 Replacing the fuel pump (Purge)
Dismantling
1. Dismantle the cylinder cover and the air lter.
2. Loosen the return hose and pressure hose
from the fuel pump. See gure 57.
3. Snap off the fuel pump from the lter holder.
Assembling
1. Snap the fuel pump into place in the lter
holder. See gure 57.
2. Fasten the return hose and suction hose on the
fuel pump (short hose on short plastic plug).
7.19 Replacing the fuel hose

Loosen the hose from the carburetor and pull the
hose up through the tank.

Insert tool 502 50 83-01 into the hose bushing in
the bottom of the carburetor suspension and out
through the tank opening. Secure the new hose
onto the end of the tool and, by using the tool, pull
the hose through the hose bushing. Cut off both
ends of the hose and then fasten it to the carbure-
tor and fuel lter.
