How to troubleshoot a Hydmech M16A saw that won't start?
- CCasey HuertaAug 17, 2025
If your Hydmech Industrial Equipment saw won't start, several issues could be the cause: * The safety relay might not be energized. Ensure all Emergency Stop push buttons are released and that door interlock switches are not activated by closing the Drive & Idler doors. * The motor overload may have tripped. Depress each of the overload buttons located in the electrical box, one at a time, while trying to start the saw to identify which motor was overloaded. * A control circuit fuse may have blown. Replace the fuse in the control panel. Repeated blowouts suggest an internal wiring fault. * The vise or head selector switch may not be in the center (neutral) position. Turn all switches to the center (neutral) position.
