[Items Required for Replacement]
• Replacement motor SSM56-* (for SS8C), HSM (for HS8C) (with a coupling on the motor shaft; see the
photograph below.)
• Allen wrench set • Phillips screwdriver
• Plastic hammer
[Procedure]
1) Remove the pan-head screws (M3 × 10,
4 pcs.) affixing the motor-end cap.
2) Remove the pan-head screws (M3 × 10,
2 pcs.) affixing the motor cover.
3) Remove the motor cover.
The motor cover is engaged with a positioning pin. If the cover does not come off easily, use a plastic
hammer to gently tap the motor cover from the side, and pull out the cover.
