Disk drive carrier module LEDs
Disk drive status is monitored by an amber LED mounted on the front of each drive carrier module, as
shown in the following gure.

LED Description Denition
1 Not currently used
2 Identify and fault Blinking amber means the disk drive module is identifying.
Solid amber means the disk drive module has failed.
Off means the disk drive module is operating normally.
Expansion module LEDs
IOM/EBOD expander module status is monitored by the LEDs located on the faceplate.
