Preparing the 9080-M9S system to remove and replace a service processor card in the
system control unit
Procedure
1. Check and record the current îš³rmware level.
On the ASMI Welcome pane, view the existing level of server îš³rmware in the upper-right corner under
the copyright statement, for example, 01EM310 or FW760.00 (AM760_019).
2. Check and record the following service processor card settings:
• System Name
• System Power Control
• System Service Aids
• System Conguration
• Network Services
• Performance Option
• Login Prole
3. Locate the amber LED for the failed service processor card as shown in the following îš³gure.
Record the location of the identifying LED.
