c) Rotate the control panel handle in the direction shown in the following îš³gure to unlock the control
panel from its slot.
d) Hold onto the control panel handle and by using your hand to support the bottom of the control
panel, pull out the control panel from its slot as shown in the following îš³gure.

Replacing the control panel in the 9080-M9S system
To replace a control panel, complete the steps in this procedure.
Procedure
1. Ensure that you have the electrostatic discharge (ESD) wrist strap on and that the ESD clip is plugged
into a ground jack or connected to an unpainted metal surface. If not, do so now.
2. Access the Advanced System Management Interface (ASMI).
Attention:
During this procedure: Do not reset the service processor, do not remove the service
processor card, and do not power off and power on the system.
3. To replace the control panel, complete the following steps:
a) Ensure that the control panel handle (A) is open as shown in the following îš³gure.
