– Make sure the volume control is not turned to low.
– Power off the system unit.
– Unplug connector J27 and jumper pins 1 and 2.
– Power on the system unit.

– Power off the system unit.
– Reconnect connector J27 to the system board.
– Power on the system unit.
– Measure the voltage, with the meter set at +6 V dc, between the bottom
connector on the speaker and frame ground.
– Turn up the volume control.
