Pairing with a data device
This section describes how to pair with a Bluetooth
®
data device using the Portable Ten-key and the
Simple key types or Mobile LCD types.
Step 1: Entering the Pairing mode (Data device)
L See the data device’s instruction manual for details.
Step 2: Turning ON the Bluetooth
®
function
(Transceiver)
L See page 11-3 for details.
Step 3: Searching for the data device (Transceiver)
1. Push [Menu] to display the “Menu” screen.
2. Push [Left] or [Right] to select “Bluetooth,” then
push [OK].
3. Push [Up] or [Down] to select “BT Device List,
then push [OK].
4. Push [Up] or [Down] to select “Find Device,” then
push [OK].
L If the transceiver has been connected to the
Bluetooth
®
device before, its name may be displayed.
5. Push [Up] or [Down] to select “Data Device,” then
push [OK] to start searching.
6. When pairable devices are found, their names are
displayed on the screen.
TIP:Ifthetransceivercannotndanypairable
device, the following screen is displayed. In that
case, do step 4 to search for a headset again.
