PRIORITY WATCH
y Push [(MEM)PRIO] for 2 sec. to start the watch.
•The transceiver checks the memory or call channel frequency
every 5 sec.
•The watch resumes according to the selected scan resume con-
dition. (p. 46)
•“PRIO” and decimal point blinks while receiving a signal on a
watch channel.
u Push [(MEM)PRIO] while the display shows the VFO fre-
quency to stop the watch.
q Select the desired band with [BAND].
w Select VFO mode with [VFO].
e Set an operating frequency.
r Push [SQLY] or [SQLZ] to set the squelch to
the threshold point.
t Set the watching channel(s).
For memory channel watch:
Select the desired memory channel.
•Select memory mode with [MR]; select the memory
channel to be watched with [Y]/[Z].
For memory scan watch:
Start the memory scan.
•Select memory mode with [MR]; push [w SCAN]
momentarily or [Y]/[Z] for 2 sec. to start memory
scan.
For call channel watch:
Select the call channel by pushing [(MR)CALL]
for 2 sec.
y Push [e PRIO] to start the watch.
•The transceiver checks the memory or call channel
