Mode selection
DD
VFO mode
VFO mode is used for the desired frequency setting within the
frequency coverage.
Push [VFO/MHz] to select VFO mode.
What is VFO?
VFO is an abbreviation of Variable Frequency Oscillator. Fre-
quencies for both transmitting and receiving are generated
and controlled by the VFO.

Memory mode
Memory mode is used for operation of memory channels
which have programmed frequencies.
qPush [MR/S.MW] to select memory mode.

” appears when memory mode is selected.
wRotate [DIAL] to select the desired memory channel.
Only programmed memory channels can be selected.
Direct memory channel entering selects the desired memory
channel. (p. 64)
