8.11 Special Feature For Canbus
Connecting (continued)
CANBUS connection offers you a lot of advantage for mounting and configuration flexibility.
The CANBUS wiring has specific features to respect the original CANBUS network of the car.
The lenght of the cables between POLARIS Central Unit and original CANBUS network of the car is maximum 4m.
Canbus wires have to be twisted and shielded.
To know where to connect the CANBUS wires, please refer to the documentation of the vehicle manufacturer.
Refer to the parameters available in the SpeedFitter to know which parameters are available for each vehicle.
