8.8 Post-treatment Recommendations
After each treatment session, the physician should advise the patient on proper care.
▪ Sun block should be used for 3 weeks following the treatment.
▪ Moisturizer may be applied after each treatment.
▪ Make-up may be applied immediately after the treatment.
8.9 Treatment Schedule
The number of treatments typically varies from 2-5 sessions every 3-4 weeks.
Pigmented lesions usually require less sessions than vascular lesions.
Treatment should be concluded when the results are satisfactory to the patient or
according to the physician's discretion.
