1.2.3 Running at over 50 Hz
The AC drive can output frequency of 0 Hz to 150 Hz. If the AC drive is required to run at
over 50 Hz, consider the capacity of the mechanical device.
1.2.4 Vibration of Mechanical Device
The AC drive may encounter the mechanical resonance point at some output frequencies,
which can be avoided by setting the skip frequency parameters of the AC drive.
1.2.5 Motor Heat and Noise
The output of the AC drive is pulse width modulation (PWM) wave with certain harmonic
wave, and therefore, the temperature rise, noise, and vibration are slightly greater than
those at running with the power frequency.
1.2.6 Voltage-Sensitive Device or Capacitor on Output Side of the AC drive
The AC drive outputs PWM wave, and therefore, do not install the capacitor for improving
power factor or lightning protection voltage-sensitive resistor on the output side of AC
drive. Otherwise, the AC drive may suffer transient over-current or even be damaged.
1.2.7 Contactor on the Input and Output Sides of the AC Drive
When a contactor is installed between the input side of the AC drive and the power supply,
do not start or stop the AC drive by turning on or turning off the contactor. If you have to
control the AC drive by using the contactor, ensure that the time interval is at least one
hour because frequent charge and discharge shortens the service life of the capacitor
inside the AC drive.
When a contactor is installed between the output side of the AC drive and the motor, do
not turn on or turn off the contactor when the AC drive has no output. Otherwise, modules
inside the AC drive may be damaged.
1.2.8 Use Outside the Rated Voltage
The AC drive cannot be used outside the allowable voltage range specified in this manual.
Otherwise, components inside the AC drive may be damaged. Use a corresponding
voltage step-up or step-down device to meet such requirement.
1.2.9 Prohibition of Three-Phase Input Changed into Two-Phase Input
Do not change three-phase input of the AC drive into two-phase input. Otherwise, faults or
damage to the AC drive will result.
1.2.10 Lightning Strike Protection
The AC drive provides a built-in lightning strike protection device. In places subject to
frequent lightning strikes, however, an additional lightning protection device needs to be
installed at the front end of the AC drive.
1.2.11 Altitude and De-rating
In places where the altitude is above 1000 m and the cooling effect becomes worse due to
rare air, it is necessary to de-rate the AC drive. Contact the agent or Inovance for technical
support.
1.2.12 Special Usage
If wiring that is not described in this manual such as common DC bus is applied, contact
the agent or Inovance for technical support.
1.2.13 Disposal
The electrolytic capacitors on the main circuit and PCB may explode when they are burnt.
Poisonous gas is generated when plastic parts are burnt. Treat them as industrial waste.
