Appendix B: I/O Extension Card (MD32IO)
B.1 Overview
MD32IO is an I/O extension card matching the CS500. It can add five DIs, one AI, one
relay signal output, one DO, and one AO. It also supports RS485 communication.
B.2 Mechanical Installation and Functions of Control Terminals
The installation procedure is as follows:
1. Ensure that the AC drive is completely powered off
2. Make the I/O extension card fit with the extension card interface and the location hole.
3. Fasten the I/O extension card with screws.
The following three figures respectively show the installation method, physical dimensions,
jumper interfaces, and CN3 signal definition.
