3.2.4 Main Circuit Terminals and Wiring
 SafetyInformation
z Ensure that the power supply is cut off before wiring. Otherwise, electric shock may result.
z Wiring must be performed only by qualified personnel under instructions described in this
manual. Otherwise, equipment damage or personal injury may result.
z Ground the equipment reliably. Otherwise, electric shock or a fire may result.
Follow the instructions during wiring:
z Ensure that the input power is consistent with the rated value of the AC drive.
Otherwise, the AC drive may be damaged.
z Ensure that the motor is adaptable to the AC drive. Otherwise, motor damage or the
AC drive protection may result.
z Do not connect the power supply to the U, V, W terminals. Otherwise, the AC drive
may be damaged.
z Do not connect the braking resistor directly to the (+), (-) terminals of the DC bus.
Otherwise, a fire may result.
