Note
Observe the ventilation direction when installing the fan to ensure smooth discharge of hot
air. Failure to comply may cause failure in hot air exhaust, and over‑temperature or damage
to the AC drive. Ensure a distance of at least 200 mm between the air exhaust top cover and
the fan outlet to avoid adverse effect on the cooling performance of the fan.
4.2.3 Mounting Backplate Requirements
Requirements on backplate thickness, dimensions, and stiffness
To avoid damage to the AC drive during transportation and ensure proper operation
of the AC drive, use a mounting plate with excellent stiffness and strength
performance, and a thickness of at least 2 mm. Reinforce the backplate where
appropriate. For example, weld a lateral reinforcing beam on the back of the
backplate, as shown in the following figure.
