COMPUTER OPERATION AND FEATURES
The CS4 Seated Cross Trainer is an exercise device with reciprocating leg and arm motion.
The computer is operated through the keypad. Below is a description of each key function:
A: QUICK START
1. Press at any time to restart a MANUAL workout. Time starts at 00:00 and
counts up. Exceptions are below:
• During PROGRAM setup, press to accept existing settings and begin
WORKOUT. Any unset settings use the default value (resistance 7, 15:00
workout time)
• During USER setup, press to accept existing settings and begin WORKOUT
B: RESISTANCE KEY (UP/DOWN)
1. Increase/Decrease RESISTANCE during workout
2. Increase/Decrease MAXIMUM RESISTANCE during resistance profile program
settings
3. Toggle between programming and user setting options during setup
C: PROGRAMS KEY (Time +/-)
1. After start-up press to see a list of available programs
2. During a WORKOUT, press to adjust the WORKOUT TIME
• After pressing PROGRAMS, the TIME display begins blinking.
• Press RESISTANCE UP or DOWN key to adjust the WORKOUT TIME in 1
minute increments.
• Press ENTER to accept WORKOUT TIME and resume workout
D: ENTER KEY
1. Accept a setting during program setup
E: STOP / RESET KEY
1. Pause a workout program during workout. While Paused, Press
STOP/RESET key to reset the program
2. Press and hold for 2 seconds to RESET/REBOOT computer
3. During PROGRAM or USER setup, move to previous setting
F: USER KEY
1. Select User 1 through User 10
G: VIEW/SEAT
1. Press to toggle between different LCD screen layouts (STANDARD, BASIC,
CALORIE, HEART RATE, FOCUS, METS)
• LCD displays ‘STANDARD VIEW’ for 2 seconds then changes to
STANDARD VIEW
