From the existing drain, attach two additional Tees using the 1 1/2" NPT Close Nipples. Tighten the Reducers into the
Tees as shown above. Attach the Modied Compression Fitting into the 1 1/2" to 1/4" Reducer. Position the bulb of the
thermostat so that it rests approximately 1/4" from the bottom of the Tee. Tighten the Modied Compression Fitting as
required. Attach to the incoming cold water line. Use thread tape as required to prevent any leaks.
