5.8 TO REMOVE A BLOCKAGE FROM CUTTING UNITS _____________________________
1. Stop and lift the cutter decks before you move the machine to level ground.
2. Engage the transport locks.
3. Turn off the engine and remove the ignition key.
4. If the front cutter deck has become blocked, you will need to tilt front cutter deck refer to section 8.19
5. Wear the personal protective equipment that is applicable for this work, for example eye protection, gloves and
correct footwear. Use Bat (4184540), to remove the blockage.
6. Check the blades for damage and replace if necessary.
7. Disengage the transport locks.
8. Put the deck into the position for operation.
9. Start the engine and run the cutter decks to check for correct operation.
5.9 SLINGING AND JACKING THE MACHINE ______________________________________
Slinging
When slinging the machine a set of four damage free wheel clamps must be used, similar
to the one shown, in conjunction with a certified lifting frame.
Jacking points
There are four jack points indicated on the machine, two on the rear axle and two on the front axle.
This decal indicates the correct lift point.
WARNING
Always use the Bat (4184540) and heavy duty leather gloves to clean under cutter deck to reduce the risk
of injury and infection from foreign objects.
