1. Attach the Knee Lifter q .
2. Attach the Embroidery Foot P.
3. Lower the presser foot lever and lower the
needle to its lowest position.
4. Move the Knee Lifter
q several times.
5. Remove the Top Cover. (See Page 1)
6. When the presser arm
w is moving by
turning the handwheel, the clearance
between the knee lifter link (5)
e and presser
arm pin
r should be 0.2 to 0.5 mm t .
7. For the adjustment of the knee lifter play,
remove the belt cover and loosen the nut
and adjusting screw
y under the receptacle.
After adjustment, tighten the nut and follow
steps 4 to 6 for rechecking.
8. Attach the belt cover and top cover.
