In Bridge mode, the SmartClass Triple Play Services replaces the modem, and hub, as indi-
cated by the dotted-line box in Figure 10. It does not use a DHCP server so it does not assign
IP addresses to other equipment. The end equipment uses either the service provider-
supplied IP address or one that is on the same network (same netmask).
To test in DSL Terminate Mode, use Bridge Mode as it allows VLAN tags to be assigned. To
use IPv6 (IPv6oE or IPv6 Multi VLAN), Bridge mode should be used.
