8. BEFORE THE RIDE
8.5.4. CHECK IF THE COOLING SYSTEM INLET AND OUTLET ARE CLEAN
During the ride it is very important that the heat produced by the motor, battery and regulator
is removed eciently and there is no overheating.
• Before the ride therefore always check if the cooling system inlet

and outlet

are
clean.
Note (Material damage)
If the cooling system inlet / outlet are not clear, they have to be cleaned and the whole
cooling system has to be rinsed with fresh water ( p. 30).
8.5.5. JET PUMP CHECK
• Before the ride, always check also the con-
dition of the jet pump.

If they are dirty, it can inuence the performance of JetSurf Electric.
