9. RIDING INSTRUCTIONS
9.1. ACTIVATION AND THE FIRST RIDE
Warning (Risk of Accidents)
Never insert the engine shut-off key into the engine shut-off switch unless all of the
Battery Pack locks are ensured.
Keep your arms, legs and other body part away from all the jet inlets when the
motor is in operation. It could result in a serious injury or death.
When starting the JetSurf Electric, make sure that people (especially children) are at
least 10 meters/33feet away from water-jet pump.
It is absolutely necessary for the rider to release the control handle when he/she
loses full control of the motorized surf or balance during the ride. Pulling the engine
shut-off key from the engine shut-off switch will stop the motor immediately.
Note (Material damage)
Do not leave JetSurf Electric in direct sunlight or anywhere that would allow its
surface to rise to a temperature in excess of 65°C/149°F. Excessive temperatures
can cause damage to the engine.
Do not leave motorized surf unattended.
Warning (Risk of Injury)
Be aware that the JetSurf motorized surf are not intended or
designed as
swimming aids.
It is necessary to use all the protective aids all the time. They include helmet, life
jacket, safety leash on the leg or arm.
If the JetSurf Electric is ready ( p. 36 - Chapter 8.1), you can start using it.
9.2. JETSURF ACTIVATION
9.2.1. STAGE ONE
Insert the engine shut-o key
A
in the
engine shut-o switch placed on the upper
part of the control handle for minimum 4
seconds (the indicator turns blue color),
then take the key out.
