3.3 POWER ENTRY MODULE (PEM)
The Power Entry Module (PEM) consists in two separated units instead of one.
Ø One unit includes the switch only.
Ø One unit includes the the power supply inlet, suppresses noise and contains the fuses.
If a transformer is required, it has to be connected between the PEM and the Power Interface Board, Connector X41.
3.4 INTEGRATED IBP BOARD
The wheel balancer is equipped with integrated power
supply and controller board.
The PCB board software loading or updating is done with a
MMC/SD card.
The replacement of the board always requires the software
loading, balancer set up and calibration of the machine and
it is mandatory to load the software with all connetcors
plugged to the PCB board.
3.5 CAPACITORS
The balancer is equipped by 2 capacitors of 5 and 25uF. The function of both
is to start up of the motor
3.6 KEYPAD
The keypad is used to input data, change balancing program, etc. It connects directly to the display to pcb via a ribbon
cable.
NOTE: ALL BUTTONS FUNCTION AS AN EMERGENCY STOP BUTTON WHEN THE MOTOR IS SPINNING.
The keypad is attached to integrated board plastic panel and its buttons are of membrane type.
