Ø Remove the three plastic plugs from the cabinet to access to the hex vibratory assembly bolts.
Ø Using 1/4”/6mm hex head remove the six hex bolts to the vibratory. Pay special attention of spacer placement.
Ø Lift up on the vibratory member and remove. Be careful not to damage wiring, boards, etc.
Ø Set vibratory member into the balancer housing. Be careful not to damage wiring, boards, etc.
Ø Insert spacers.
Ø With the aid of a helper start the two lower hex bolts.
Ø Install the 4 remaining hex bolts tighten to 45-50Nm / 33-37lbfts and make sure that the vibratory assy is properly
levelled following 2.6.
Ø Install the rear transducer following 4.13
Ø Install all the cables.
Ø Install the laser pointer to Vibratory assembly.
Ø Install weight tray and the plastic plugs.
Ø Mount the protection underneath the Vibratory assembly.
Ø Connect power supply and follow all calibration procedures C85 .
Ø Perform the calibration C115, C84, C88, C81, C90.
Ø Check isf the balancer works fi ne.
4.13 CHECK AND REPLACEMENT OF TRANSDUCERS
" : 2.5, 5 and 6mm allen key, 17mm wrench , Medium and big phillips screwdriver, Scissors, Calibration rotor, Fork
tools, dynamometric key,
6 : 1h each one
i : Defective transducers may cause the following malfunctions:
1. The balancer shows error C10410.
2. The balancer shows error C10420.
3. The balancer shows error C10430.
4. The balancer shows wrong balancing values.
5. The balancer chases weight.
TO CHECK THE TRANSDUCERS:
Ø Check with C64, C66, C71, C103, C104.
Ø Select the C75 AdE 1 and AdE 2 are read out on a board and the voltage diff erence between the outputs of the
unbalance signal amplifi ers N4A and N4B is indicated. AdE 2 is the channel indicating the signal of transducer B3
located in the front. AdE 1 is the channel indicating the signal of transducer B2 located in the back. Normally, the
readings are fl uctuating around ±0.005x volts.
Ø Standing in front of the balancer, push at the end of the main shaft repeatedly by hand and
observe the readings.
(Pushing at the fl ange will put inadequate force on the front transducer, since this plane is the pivot axis of the force
guidance structure.)
If there is no eff ect on the readings, the transducer is not connected properly.
If the two wires are connected in the order intended, there is a minus sign as long you press. Pushing by hand,
readings of 0.5xxx volts are easily obtained.
Ø In order to assess the relevant insulation resistance; do not touch the machine, just read theindicated voltage.
With the transducer in the humidity for several days, the insulation resistance can decline to less than 500 Meg
Ohms. Insulation resistance of 500 Meg Ohms will produce 0.14 volts at the input of the analogue to digital
converter.
Ø Press the minus key to select channel "AdE 1", transducer B2 in there is connected to, and repeat the above
steps to check the rear transducer.
