A.3.3 Serial Interface
The serial interface has the following characteristics.
Baudrate (bps): 1200 bps, 2400 bps, 4800 bps, 9600 bps, 19200 bps (selectable)
Data length: 7 or 8-bit (selectable)
Start bit: 1 bit
Parity bit: Odd, even, or none (selectable)
Stop bit: 1 bit
Handshaking: DTR protocol, XON/XOFF protocol (selectable)

Positive when the printer is ready to receive data,
and negative when the printer is not ready
