      If the transponder software version on your JRC Other device displays as -.--, it could be due to the following reasons: * The transponder power is not turned on. Check the voltage at the end of the transponder cable. * The transponder itself is not turned on, or the IC that supplies power within the transponder is broken. In this case, replace the transponder.

      If power isn't supplied when you press the power switch on your JRC Other device, here's what to check: * Ensure power is being distributed from the inboard distribution panel; if not, supply power from there. * Verify the wiring and output voltage of the power supply unit (NBD-577C). If the supply voltage is out of range, replace the power unit. * Inspect the fuses in the connection box for any blown fuses. Correct the wiring and replace the fuses if needed. * If the termination in the connection box is broken, replace the NQE-5183 connection box. * Confirm that the wiring to the connection box is correct and that power is being supplied to it. * If the IC in the AIS controller is broken, replace the CQD-2983 circuit board. * Replace the power supply cable of the transponde...
