:SAVE
(:CALibration:PROTected:SAVE)
Purpose
To save calibration constants in EEROM after the calibration procedure.
Format
:cal:prot:save
Parameter
None
Description
The :SAVE command stores internally calculated calibration constants de-
rived during both comprehensive and manufacturing calibration in EEROM.
(EEROM is non-volatile memory.) Calibration constants will be retained in-
definitely once saved. Generally, :SAVE is sent after all other calibration
steps (except for :LOCK).
Note
Calibration will be only temporary unless the :SAVE command is sent to per-
manently store calibration constants.
Example
:CAL:PROT:SAVE Save calibration constants.
:DATE
(:CALibration:PROTected:DATE)
Purpose
To send the calibration date to the instrument.

Parameters
<year> = 1994 to 2093
<month> = 1 to 12
<day> = 1 to 31
Query format
:cal:prot:date?
Response

Description
The :DATE command allows you to store the calibration date in instrument
memory for future reference. You can read back the date from the instrument

panel CAL menu.
Note
The year, month, and day parameters must be delimited by commas.
Examples
:CAL:PROT:DATE 1994, 12, 16 Send cal date (12/16/94).
