Assemble units as described herein only. To do otherwise
may result in instability. All screws, nuts and bolts must be
tightened securely and must be checked periodically after
assembly. Failure to assemble properly, or to secure parts
may result in assembly failure and personal injury.

4. Continue with cable actuator
installation from at the back,
non-user side of the lectern. While
facing the back, lift the worktop up
to disengage the worktop support
bracket from the worktop support
platform, then flip the worktop
support bracket up against the
underside of the worktop. Continue
to hold it up to gain access to the top
of the mounting head (Figure 5).
5. While holding the worktop support
bracket up against the worktop,
continue to guide the barrel end of
the cable into the oval-shaped hole
under the support platform and into
the mounting head (Figure 6 &
Detail H).
6. Insert the barrel end of the release
cable into the slot on the barrel cable
actuator (Detail I).
7. With the barrel end engaged in
the barrel cable actuator, press the
plastic end of the release cable
down into the cable holder bracket
by snapping the notch of the cable’s
plastic end into the cable holder
bracket as illustrated (Details J & K).
8. At this time, the worktop support
bracket can be lowered back into
place and re-engaged to prop the
worktop up.
