NOTICE
If you open the engine bonnet in
auto stop mode, the following will
happen (With automatic transaxle):
• The ISG system will deactivate
(the light on the ISG OFF button
will illuminate).
Auto start
To restart the engine from idle
stop mode
With manual transaxle
• Press the clutch pedal when the
shift lever is in the N (Neutral) posi-
tion.
• A message "Press clutch pedal
before driving on" will appear on
the LCD display.
• The engine will start and the green
AUTO STOP ( ) indicator on the
instrument cluster will go out.
With automatic transaxle
• Release the brake pedal.
or
• When AUTO HOLD is operating, if
you release the brake pedal, the
engine keeps the stop state. But if
you press the accelerator pedal,
the engine will start again.
The engine will start and the green
AUTO STOP indicator ( ) on the
instrument cluster will go out.
