When a response is received, “Emergency alarm succeeded” will be displayed on the LCD screen.
When no response is received and the maximum times of alarm have reached, “Emergency alarm failed” will be
displayed on the LCD screen. The radio will quit emergency alarm mode automatically.
Note:
If the alarm type is Secret or Secret with Voice, there is no audio-video prompt during an emergency alarm.
5.3.2 Receiving Emergency Alarm
To receive an emergency alarm, “Emergency Alarm Indication” must be enabled, otherwise. This can be set
using the programming software.
To receive an emergency alarm, you need to set the radio as a member of the group using the programming
software.
When an emergency alarm is received, the emergency alarm icon will be displayed in the status bar, and
the sender’s alias or ID, emergency alarm icon and emergency alarm type icon on the LCD screen. The
radio gives off alarm tones regularly, red LED light flashes. You may cancel the alarm by pressing any key.
5.3.3 Quitting Emergency Alarm
The radio quits emergency alarm in one of the following situations.
