b) Enter text contents through keypad.
c) Press to move the cursor to the right/left.
d) Press【#】 key to switch typewriting and 【*】 key to switch to lower/upper case.
e) In the non-digital input mode, press【1】 key to enter punctuation.
f) Press the delete key to delete the character right before the cursor.
5) Press OK key after the message is edited and send, save or delete the message.
6) Select “send” and enter the “contact” interface.
7) Select contact list and enter the list.
8) Select the target contact and press OK key to send message; or you can select manual dial in the
contact interface and enter the target number and press OK key to send the edited message.
9) After the message is sent, “Message Sent” indication will show on the LCD screen and the radio will
return to the short message interface.
If the message failed to deliver, ”Message Failed” will show on the LCD screen and the radio returns to the
short message interface.
The sent message is saved in the sent mailbox。
6.2 Sending Quick Message
The radio supports a maximum of 10 quick messages (message is edited by dealer through programming
software)
You can edit the pre-defined quick message before sending it.
1) In the home screen, press and enter the menu.
2) Select and enter “ short message” menu.
