Note:
Once the radio is killed, the configuration data will be lost and the radio cannot go back to normal after
reboot, so please operate with due care!
The killed radio can only be revived by authorized dealer or supplier.
10.5 Remote Monitor
Remote Monitor allows the user to turn on the microphone of the target radio through air signaling. There will
be no audible or visual indication on the target radio. You can use this feature to monitor the surroundings of
the target radio.
1) Press in the home screen to enter the menu.
2) Select and enter “ management” menu.
3) Select “Remote Monitor”.
4) Enter “Contact List” and select the target private contact.
The screen displays the alias or ID of the target radio and indicates that the radio is sending remote control
signaling. The red indicator glows.
5) Waiting for response from the target radio.
If the response from the target radio is received, the screen shows “Remote Control Succeeded”, or it
shows “Remote Control Failed”.
