FlexStat 29 Operation Guide, Rev. R
Firmware Upgrade
The existing version of rmware can be viewed from
the About the FlexStat screen. (See About the Flex-
Stat on page 6).
Firmware in the FlexStat can be upgraded using a PC
and an HTO-1103 Firmware Flash Upgrade Kit avail-
able from KMC Controls. (For full upgrade instruc-
tions, see the HTO-1103 Installation Guide.) (The old
KMD-5699 part number was changed to HTO-1103
in Aug. 2010 to beer reect its “tool” identity.)
Programming (Custom)
The FlexStat has a library of built-in applications and
options that are congured through the FlexStat’s
display. Beyond these standard congurations, cus-
tom changes can be added to a FlexStat using KMC’s
BACstage (ver. 2.4.0.26 or later) or TotalControl (ver.
2.0.5 or later). See the FlexStatApplicationGuide
for more information.
NOTE: Customizedprogramsaretheresponsibility
oftheuser. KMC Controls does not provide
support for such programs.
Maintenance
Remove dust as necessary from the holes in the top
and boom. Clean the display with a soft, damp
cloth and mild soap.
To maintain maximum sensitivity of an optional
built-in motion sensor, occasionally wipe dust or dirt
o the lens—but do not use any uid on the sensor.
Accessories
See the BAC-12xxxx/13xxxx/14xxxxSeriesFlexStat
DataSheet.
