Mortion Sequence
Recording a Motion Sequence
MotionSequencingallowsyoutorecordtheippingofswitchesandtheturn-
ingofknobsaspartofthesequence,andrecreatethosemotionsautomatically
duringplayback.
FourMotionSequencescanberecordedonthemonologue,whichcanincludes
changestoallknobsandswitches(exceptfortheMASTERknob,TEMPO
knob,andOCTAVEswitches).
1.
Press the PLAY buon to play the sequencer.
2.
Set the MOTION/SLIDE/NOTE switch to MOTION.
“MOTIONVIEW”willbeshownonthedisplay,andthemotionthatis
savedtotheprogramwillbegraphicallydisplayed.
3.
Press the REC buon.
Real-timerecordingwillbegin.
4.
Move the knobs and switches on the monologue.
AMotionSequenceoftheknobsandswitchesyoumovedwillberecorded.
Youcanrecordupto4MotionSequencesfortheknobsandswitches.
Ifyouexceedthislimit,themessage“MotionFull”willbeindicatedin
thedisplay,andthedisplaywillenterMOTIONCLEARintheSEQEDIT
mode.Whenthishappens,deleteapreviously-recordedMotionSequence
beforerecordinganewone(“DeletingaMotionSequence”,p.25).
5.
Aer the set number of steps have nished recording, the Motion Se-
quence will automatically nish recording as well.
Startatstep3torecordmotionsequencesforotherknobsandswitches.
Whenyourecordamotionsequenceoftheknobsandswitchesyoumoved,
thepreviousdatawillbeoverwrien.

ThenumberofstepsissetforeachProgram,andyoucanchangethe
numberofstepsusingthe“StepLength”functionintheSEQEDIT
mode.Fordetails,referto“StepLength”(p.35).
