12.5 Replacing the ball bearing and screw set

6. Fixate the pump1 with suitable measures, so that the pump cannot tilt during mounting of the
motor.
7. Attach the hoisting equipment to the motor2 and position it above the pump.
8. Place the motor slowly on the pump bracket3 of the pump. Ensure that the outer rotor7 does not
strike the containment can.
9. Tighten the socket screwswith torque.
10. Do not remove the protective cover until just before reconnecting the pump to the pipe system.

Personal protective equipment: o Work clothing
o Protective gloves
o Safety boots
Aids: o Plastic hammer
o Extractor

► Under no circumstances may persons with cardiac pacemakers, metallic implant or
neurostimulator perform work on the pump/pump unit.

1. Remove the socket screws at the pump flange4 and remove the pump flange with light "re-
bound" blows.
2. Pull the withdrawable unit (main screw2 and the pump flange4) out of the pump housing1.
3. Remove the circlip8 and the supporting ring7.
