Connecting to the VP-440 via RS-232
The VP-440 features two RS-232 ports:
• RS-232 DATA (Tx, Rx, GND) to pass data to and from the machine that is connected to
the HDBT connector.
• RS-232 CTRL (Tx, Rx, GND) to control the VP-440 or to control an external device (e.g.,
a monitor).
To connect to the VP-440 via RS-232:
• Connect the RS-232 terminal block connector on the VP-440 to the RS-232 9-pin D-sub
port on your PC/controlled device
