AKE SURE YOUR KTM IS KEPT IN AN UPRIGHT POSITION WITH CLAMPING BANDS OR OTHER MECHANICAL FASTENING DEVICES DURING TRANSPORT AND
THAT THE FUEL TAP IS SWITCHED TO
"OFF". FUEL MAY LEAK FROM THE CARBURETOR OR FUEL TANK IF THE MOTORCYCLE TIPS OVER.

O NOT USE TOOTHED DISKS OR SPLIT WASHERS FOR THE ENGINE FASTENING BOLTS SINCE THEY WILL WORK THEIR WAY INTO THE FRAME COMPONENTS
AND BECOME LOOSE
. ALWAYS USE SELF-LOCKING NUTS.

ROPERLY DISPOSE OF OILS GREASE, FILTERS, FUEL, CLEANSERS, ETC. OBSERVE THE REGULATIONS EFFECTIVE IN YOUR COUNTRY.

EVER POUR USED OIL IN THE SEWER OR DISPOSE OF IT OUTDOORS. 1 LITER OF USED OIL WILL POLLUTE 1,000,000 LITERS OF WATER.

EPLACE ANY SELF-LOCKING NUTS YOU REMOVED.

F YOU REMOVE ANY SCREWS OR BOLTS SECURED WITH LOCTITE, MOUNT AND SECURE THEM IN THE SAME MANNER.
MAINTENANCE WORK - CHASSIS AND ENGINE
Removing the seat
Pull the cable 1 on the seat lock 2 until the seat unlocks. Lift the back of
the seat, pull back and unhinge from the oval head screw
3.
To mount, attach the seat to the oval head screw
3, lower the seat in the
rear and push towards the front. Press down in the center if necessary to
attach the retaining bracket
4 to the seat. Insert the striker in the lock
casing
2 and press down the back of the seat until you hear the striker
snap into place.
Check if the seat is correctly mounted.
