6.11 Electric starter button (EXC EU, EXC SIX DAYS, XC-W)

The electric starter button
is fitted on the right side of the handlebar.
Possible states
• Electric starter button in basic position
• Electric starter button pressed – the electric starter is actuated in this position.
6.12 Electric starter button (EXC AU)

6.13 Overview of indicator lamps (All EXC models)

Possible states
The high beam indicator light lights up blue – The high beam is
switched on.
EFI warning lamp (MIL) lights up/flashes orange – The OBD has detected
an emission- or safety-critical fault.
The low fuel warning lamp lights up orange – The fuel level has reached
the reserve mark.
Turn signal indicator light flashes green – The turn signal is switched
on.

EFI warning lamp (MIL) lights up/flashes orange – The OBD has detected
an emission- or safety-critical fault.
The low fuel warning lamp lights up orange – The fuel level has reached
the reserve mark.
6.15 Opening filler cap
Danger
Fire hazard Fuel is highly flammable.
– Never refuel the vehicle near open flames or burning cigarettes, and always switch off the engine first. Be careful that no
fuel is spilt, especially on hot vehicle components. Clean up spilt fuel immediately.
– The fuel in the fuel tank expands when warm and may emerge if overfilled. Follow the instructions on refueling.
