Main work
– Wash the air filter thoroughly in special cleaning liquid and allow it to dry properly.
Air filter cleaner ( p. 126)
Info
Only press the air filter to dry it, never wring it out.
– Oil the dry air filter with a high quality filter oil.
Oil for foam air filter ( p. 126)
– Clean the air filter box.
– Check the intake flange for damage and firm seating.
Finishing work
– Install the air filter. ( p. 65)
– Install the air filter box cover. ( p. 64)

Warning
Danger of burns The exhaust system gets very hot when the vehicle is driven.
– Allow the exhaust system to cool down. Do not touch hot components.

Disconnect spring


Spring hooks (50305017000)

Remove screws

and take off main silencer.

Reconnect spring
