13.10 Installing the lower triple clamp

Main work
– Clean the bearing and sealing elements, check for damage,
and grease.
High viscosity grease ( p. 106)
– Insert the lower triple clamp with the steering stem. Mount
upper steering head bearing

Check that the O-ring at the top

is correctly positioned.

Push on protective ring

– Position the upper triple clamp and handlebar.

Mount nut

, but do not tighten yet.

Individual installation position

Position the fork legs.
Guideline
Observe the position determined during removal.
Bleeder screws
